See all Alex Stevenson memorabilia.
2 June 1941 - Everton win Merseyside derby 3-1. Everton closed the 1940-41 season at Goodison against Liverpool in the Football League North. There was no official national League during the war, with League positions decided by goal average. See the programme from this 1941 derby.
3 June 1970 - Everton refuse to enter the League Cup. The Club had qualified for the following season's European Cup and so rather than get caught in a fixture pile-up, they refused to enter the League Cup.
