[Meeting of Directors held of Goodison Park
January 11th 1910.]
Present The full Board.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Billiard The Secretary reported having heard that
table Mr. Norris had forwarded to us the
table &c.
Gault The secretary reported having signed Gault
on at 50/- per week £1 for his rail fare
we to endeavour to find him employment
as a Caulker & his football salary to be
reduce in proportion to his salary as
a Caulker, together with a transfer fee
of £50 to the Jarrow Caledonians such
fee to be increased to £75 if we engaged
Gault for season 1910/11. Approved.
Irish trial The secretary reported the visit of the Chairman
James & himself to Belfast that Thompson the
outside left of Cliftonville played fairly
but that he had no intention of embracing
Professionalism but that his club had
promised us his league transfer so
that he could come and play a trial for
us.
Douglas The Secretary reported his visit to Chelsea
but that on his indifferent display he
could not recommend Douglas.
