[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park
March 14th 1911]
Present All the Directors.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read
& confirmed.
Clennel The Secretary having reported that
Blackpool had had an offer of £800
& were asking £1000 for Clennel.
Resolved that nothing further be done.
Fleetwood The engagement of Fleetwood at
£3 10/- per week £10 bonus & a fee of
£425 to Rochdale was confirmed.
Jefferis The deputation reported their visit to
Trueman Leyton & that
Buchan Trueman was not good enough
Buchan was very good & should be
obtained if possible
Jefferis was obviously not recovered
from his indisposition but that he
showed glimpses of being a first
class player & it was resolved that
the Secretary endeavour to secure
his transfer up to £600.
Salmon Resolved that Taylor see him play and
report.
Dodds & Settle reported these players not good
Stephenson enough but referred to others & the
