Jefferis The deputation reported their visit to Trueman Leyton & that Buchan Trueman was not good enough Buchan was very good & should be obtained if possible Jefferis was obviously not recovered from his indisposition but that he showed glimpses of being a first class player & it was resolved that the Secretary endeavour to secure his transfer up to £600.
