The Secretary's action in arranging to
send our A team to Ormskirk on Good
Friday for expenses was confirmed.
Makin This Carlisle forward being highly
spoken of the Secretary was instructed
to engage him if there was no transfer
to pay.
Scout boys The use of our ground & gate was granted
game for a match on May 2.
Alterations The Secretary read Mr. Leitch's letter
of even date intimating that he had
agreed with Bullens to reduce the
balance due them to £896.12.6 (being a
reduction of £240.7.8) & enclosing Final
certificate for the payment of that amount.
Also requesting payment of his own a/c
for materials &c.
Resolved that Mr. Leitch be informed
that no payment would be made to
Bullens until the Board had gone into
their a/cs with him nor would any
further payment be made to him until
his a/c had been similarly explained.
Messrs Clayton Kelly & the Secretary
were instructed to take Legal opinion
upon their responsibility for Mr. Leitch's
mistakes, and report.
