55 The Secretary was instructed to give a cordial invitation to Messrs Barlow Senr. & E. Berry to join us at Kenilworth. Empire Day The use of our ground on May 21 was granted for this Celebration. The Secretary reported that W. H. Phillip had stated that he sent to us the balance of expenses money re visit to St. Helens on Febry. 19th (1/6/5) in an envelope with his report but that he the Secretary had not received same. Resolved that the amount be debited to travelling a/c & that the Secretary reprimand Phillips. Kennedy Stockport County} Smethams Burnley } Declined Walter Scott The Secretary was instructed to pay removal the a/c for removing Scotts furniture from Grimsby to L'pool. Applications for financial help from St. Helens Town Parkgate United Ashton Town were declined. Alterations The Secretary read letter from Mr. Leitch enclosing certificate for payment to Mortons of £930.15.11 & it was resolved that cheque therefore be drawn & signed
