55 Lanc. F.A. Dr Whitford & the Secretary reported their attendance accompanied by Mr Bainbridge & Jno Sharp at the meeting of the Council of the Lanc. F.A. at Bolton last night and made a full explanation as to the team played v L'pool on Novr 23rd & that the Council confirmed its previous decision. The Secretary reported that he intimated our intention of appealing to the F. A. & his draft letters to that effect to the Secretaries of the F.A & Lanc F. A were approved & ordered to be sent together with £10 deposit to the F.A. McEvoy The Secretary reported that Accrington Stanley agreed to transfer McEvoy at our request.
