Gregson acknowledging receipt of cheque for
£100 paid under protest and intimating
that the next meeting of the Lanc FA
Council would be held on January 6th '09.
Resolved that the Secretary represent
the Club and that he take such witnesses
as may be necessary.
Tour The Secretary submitted draft letter to
Copenhagen asking £900 for 3 matches
& suggesting that a fourth might be
played at Hamburg on terms to be
arranged & same was approved and
directed to be sent.

The League Combination and Friendly games
were reported.
Bolton Mr Horrocks Bury FC attended and made
an offer of £400 or an exchange of Booth
for Bolton but same was declined.
McEwan In accordance with promise Bolton Wands
intimated that they had received an
offer of £1000 for McEwan & enquired if
we were open to make an offer.
Resolved we do nothing but that if
Stokes they were prepared to part with Stokes,
the Secretary was invested with power to
go to £1000. On enquiry from Bolton as
to Stokes they would not part with him.
