Lanc. F.A. The Secretary read the letter from the
Lanc FA intimating their decision
& fine of £100 & the detention of our
shares of the Semi final receipts, his
reply thereto of the 9th inst. & the FA's
further letter of the 8th inst. suggesting
that the fine be paid under protest
that he (Mr Gregson) would undertake
to put the matter on the Agenda for the
next Council Meeting when the Council
would us or our representatives. The Secy
also stated that we had a right of
appeal to the FA but that such appeal
might wait until we had been heard
by the Council.
Resolved that the course suggested
by the Secretary of the Lanc FA be
adopted.
Mr Mahon At this point the Secretary received an
decd intimation that Mr. Mahon had
passed away at 7.30 pm.
