219 Poor Rate The Secretary reported that whereas last year we paid £188.15.0 poor rate upon an Assessment of £985 Rateable Value, an account had been sent in for this years Poor Rate amounting to £425.19.4 upon an Assessment of £1966. His enquiries showed that our earnings had been taken into calculation & it was decided that Dr Whitford & the Secretary should interview Mr. H R Cleaver Clerk to the Guardians & report, meanwhile the a/c is not to be paid.
