Mr. Mallins & his statement that we only
required the ground for Saturdays & Holidays
for matches, that we were prepared to
accept such tenancy as the Tramways A.
F.C. held themselves from the Corporation
and would be subject to the same notice
to determine was confirmed & he was
instructed to write the Tramways A.F.C.
to that effect Mr. Mallins promising to do
what he could for us.
Lanc. F.A. The Secretary reported that having received
a postcard from Mr. Gregson intimating that
Cup entry fees must be paid on or before
May 1st he had paid such entry fee in
addition to the membership fee his
action was confirmed.
Mercer An application by this player for engagement
at £1 and 30/- was declined & the Secretary's
action in placing him on the transfer list at
£50 approved.
Smith The Secretary reported that Smith had now
signed a pro form for Bury and that
Bamford Bamford had signed for Burnley.
Leicester The Secretary read letter of thanks from
Fosse Leicester Fosse & stated that he had not
yet received Promissory Note.
3rd Division Mr. Clayton reported the meeting of the League
at which the proposal to form a 3rd Division
was not entertained.
