Bamford The Secretary reported that Darwen asked us
to make an offer of £150 for Bamford but
such request was declined.
Donnelly & The Directors present were unable to report
Walker on these players.
Mr. Clayton reported that he had with Mr.
Wilson an interview with the Fosse officials
on Saturday and that an arrangement
had been made for an advance by us
to them of £400 to be repaid on January
1st 1910 free of interest, the Fosse to give
us a promissory note signed by eight of
their Directors, we also to have the first
refusal of any players they may, during
the time such sum of £400 or any part
there of remains unpaid, be prepared to
transfer.
The Secretary read letter from Fosse dated
April 27th embodying these terms.
The payment of £70 on a/c of the loan, and
the arrangement above set out were confirmed
and cheque for £330 the balance of such
sum of £400 ordered to be sent.
3rd Division Mr. Clayton & the Secretary were instructed
to represent the club at the Special General
W. R. C. Meeting of the League called for the 30th inst.
reports at 2.30 to consider & decide upon the
advisability of forming a third Division &
to record their vote in support thereof.

hereto & the print of the proposed scheme
on the following pages at end of minutes.
