Argentina The Secretary reported that he had
spoken to R. Balmer, Maconnachie,
Taylor, Adamson, Borthwick, Clifford,
Jones, Coleman, Freeman & White as to whether
they would, if selected, make the journey
& they expressed their willingness to do
so. Maconnachie however desired a few
days to decide. Scott, Harris & Lacey
being in Ireland had not been seen.
Resolved that the journey be undertaken
and that the offer made per Mr. Wall be
accepted.
Turner Dr. Whitford & the Secretary reported their
interview with Mr. Clegg hereon, that
the report had been made to him as
directed, that Leicester had made a
similar report, that the Player had
written acknowledging his offence, that
Mr. Clegg had declined to see the player
or the Leicester representatives & that the
matter now rested with the F. A.
Dawson The Secretary reported that he had transferred
