Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read
& confirmed.
Hofton & The Secretary reported his visit to Glossop
Cuffe on Tuesday & that whilst both Hofton &
Cuffe were very good backs Cuffe in his
opinion was the better that he had seen
Mr. Hill Wood on the matter & that as
they would require two backs to replace
them, he the Secretary suggested Strettle
& Meunier. Resolved that we go to
£1200 for them & to ask £400 for Strettle
& Meunier. The Chairman, Mr. Kelly &
the Secretary to carry the negotiations through.
Turner The Secretary reported the visit of the
deputation to Leicester:-
That they had agreed with the Leicester
F. C. as to the amount of the transfer fee
£600 but that on offering Turner £10 &
£4 per week such offer was declined he
