Lacey The engagement of this player at 50/- in
Summer and £3 in winter was confirmed.
The Secretary read letter from Shelbourne
F.C. asking for compensation & he was
instructed to reply deferring the
consideration of their application until
Lacey had proved his value.
Sloan The Secretary reported the receipt of
a Bill of Exchange from L'pool F.C.
for £300 payable Novr. 1 1908 & it was
resolved that they be asked to pay
interest thereon.

Combination Resolved that the medals given by
Medals the Lancashire Combination (11 in No.)
be given to
D. Sloan, T. Chadwick, J. Crelley, A.
Winterhalder, H. Mountford, D. Rafferty,
H. Adamson, T. Booth, J. Maconnachie,
R. Graham, S. Strettle
and that permission be obtained to
get 3 more medals for presentation to
W. Stevenson, T. Jones and J. Donnachie.
Samples of medals for presentation by
the Club to the players in commemoration
of their having won the Combination
championship were examined and it
was resolved that 15 medals of 9 carat
gold as per sample D5 be obtained for
presentation to the above mentioned
