Annual Meeting of the F.A.
That the proposal to delete the maximum
wage rule was defeated.
That the proposal to remove the limit
to transfer fee was carried.
It was reported that Queens Park R.
had withdrawn their application for
admission to the 2nd Division of the League
& that Grimsby Chesterfield and
Bradford Park Avenue had been elected.
That it was proposed to have a
third division of the Football League.
Lanc. F.A. Dr. Whitford reported his attendance
at the Annual Meeting & discussing
with several counsellors the advisability
of having a free hand with the selection
of teams to compete for the Lanc.
Senior Cup & the Secretary was instructed
to state our view that the Committees
of clubs should have the free hand
suggested.
