Borthwick The Secretary reported that having declined to negotiate with the Hibs on a/c of the price they asked, that club had asked for our best offer, that we had offered £350 & that the club replied asking for Main an offer for Main (full back) & Messrs Bainbridge & Kirkwood were deputed to visit the Hibs with full powers as to the engagement of both players up to £700. Cartwright Resolved that having regard to the unfavourable report on this player we do not proceed further. Goode Resolved that Lofthouse see these Lipsham players play on Saturday & report.
