Reports Mr. Coates attended and reported his visit to Southport on Saturday and that Meunier in his opinion Meunier and Cooke were Cooke worthy of engagement. A letter also from Mr. Jno. Worthy was read on the subject and it was resolved that Mr. Kelly & the Secretary visit Southport with full powers. Goode The deputation to Tranmere reported and recommended that this player be seen again before an engagement was made & this was adopted. R. M. Evans The Secretary was instructed to offer this player an engagement up to 35/- per week.
