[Meeting of Directors held (Emergency) at Bradford Hotel April 10th 1906.] Present G.Mahon Esq. Chair Messrs Baxter Bainbridge Davies Kelly Wade Wright Kyle The Secretary reported an interview with the Rangers F.C. in which we offered £650 for the transfer of Kyle & that the Rangers would at their meeting tonight decide as to the transfer & Mr. Wade & the Secretary were deputed to go to Scotland at once and also with full powers as to the engagement of Stewart of the Edinburgh Hibernians. The deputation reported that Simpson (Falkirk) played well but that his club whilst promising us first chance had at present no intention to part & that Gordon was pretty much the same player as when with us.
