J. Sharp The Secretary read letter from J. Sharp
of the 2nd inst. & reported his reply &
read Sharp's letter of yesterday & it
was resolved that his request be
not acceded to but that he again
be asked to sign.
Adamson The Secretary reported his interview
with the Lochgelly Secretary who stated
that he had wired £80 as the transfer
fee & not £8 as the wire (produced)
received by us stated & he was
instructed to pursue the matter &
report.
Walmsley The Secretary read application from
Albert Walmsley right half back of
Darwen for an engagement & he
was instructed to write the club
& if the transfer was satisfactory to
offer the player up to 50/- per week.
Cooke The Secretary was instructed to put
the question of Cooke's reengagement
on the agenda for next meeting.
Thomas The Secretary's action in transferring
W. Thomas to Leeds City at a fee of £75
was approved.
