That he had ordered 12 stiles from Messrs Ellison without registers @ £7.10.0 each net delivered on rail at Manchester & that they had written us agreeing to supply registers at £1.2.6 each at any future date & his action was approved. He was however instructed to ascertain what price Liverpool were paying & to try to obtain a reduction in price from Ellison's if possible.
