Grieve The Secretary reports that Grieve had been
transferred to Manchester City.
Photographs The Secretary reported Mr. Gregson's visit &
produced his specimens of reproductions
& that Mr. Gregson's charge for a photo
for the Boardroom 30 x 24 would cost
£8-£10 & that the price for 500 copies
of such photo 11½ x 9½ would cost £28,
£29 or £33 according to the style & after
inspecting the different specimens it was
resolved to instruct Mr. Gregson to proceed
with the order, he to select the style, and that
the right to reproduction be vested solely in
the club.
'Trade' The Secretary read a letter from the Programme
Advertisements Syndicate requesting the permission of the
Directorate to the continuance of the "trade"
advertisements for this coming season as
they had made their contract for 2 years
but promised to have same removed at
the expiration of their term with those advertisers
it was resolved that the advertisements be
allowed to remain for this season & that
the Secretary point out the necessity for our
sanction being first obtained both as to
style & position of advertising matter before
same is placed in position.
Bowling The proposed matches were considered
match v and it was decided that it was
L'pool now too close to the playing season
to arrange same.
