[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison
Park April 12th 1904.]
Present Dr. Baxter, Messrs Bainbridge, Coates,
Davies, Kelly, Kirkwood, Mahon, Whitford
& Wright.
Minutes of two meetings were read & confirmed.
Reports by Trainer & Doctor were made & read
Dr. Whitford & Mr. Coates reported on
Junior International that
Morton (inside right) was very good & that
they had offered him £2 & £2.10/- & were
awaiting his decision : that Heywood
right half (Stourbridge) was excellent
Tickle outside-right (Small Heath) very
good & Lawrenson Perthshire Goal very
good. The above offer was confirmed.
Mr. Wright reported re Speedie & that
Adams centre forward Clyde very good
Niblo Villa very poor & it was resolved
to let this matter drop.
Resolved that Corrin be offered to Villa
for £100.
Team v Whitley, Balmer, Crelley, Wolstenholme,
Derby County Booth, Abbott, Rankin, Taylor, Young,
Settle, Hardman, McDermott reserve.
Accgton. Kitchen, Wildman, R. Balmer, Hanlin,
Stanley Chadwick, Makepeace, Dilly, McDermott,
Roberts, O'Hagan, Corrin, McAdam reserve.
West Brom. Resolved that this team be selected
with Nelson before the match.
Resolved that Two league matches
be given for benefit this Season.
Resolved that Messrs Clayton & Davies.
