Balmer appeared before the Directors respecting his failure to attend training & having acknowledged his offence the Secretary was instructed to write admonishing him & to intimate to the players that any further breach of training rules would be dealt with. Makepeace The Chairman reported having spoken to Makepeace regarding his absence from training. Farmer The Secretary was instructed to have fund 3d 6d & 1/- tickets printed for this match. Whitley The Secretary read letter from Stoke offering Whitley but such offer was declined. Board room &c Mr. Kelly reported the purchase of furniture
