letter from Dr. Whitford on the subject &
having read the letter the matter was
discussed & the following resolution was
unanimously carried:-
"That the Directors have every confidence
in Mr. Mahon our Chairman & believe
that on the question of order he look
the correct course on the matter referred
to by Dr. Whitford."
The Secretary referred to our League
fixtures with L'pool & his conversation
with Mr. Watson this forenoon & the matter
was left with the deputation to London
as was the price of Stringfellows transfer
to Leeds City F.C.
The recent developments with Lancashire
Combination was ordered to be put on
Agenda for next meeting.
