letter from Dr. Whitford on the subject & having read the letter the matter was discussed & the following resolution was unanimously carried:- "That the Directors have every confidence in Mr. Mahon our Chairman & believe that on the question of order he look the correct course on the matter referred to by Dr. Whitford." The Secretary referred to our League fixtures with L'pool & his conversation with Mr. Watson this forenoon & the matter was left with the deputation to London as was the price of Stringfellows transfer to Leeds City F.C.
