W. Dow (Leith A.) A letter dated 5 May 1905 was read
from the Leith Athletic F.C. asking if we
would make an offer for the transfer of
W. Dow their inside or outside left wing
forward. It was decided to write them
asking them to play him in their Team
on Saty. 13 May and we would send
Directors to watch him.
Messrs Davies and Kirkwood and Lofthouse
were deputed to go to Scotland.

F. W. Dent A letter dated 3 May 1905 from Fred. W. Dent
was read asking if we could give him an
engagement as he had decided to become
a professional. A reply to be sent in
the negative but that we would recommend
him to any club desiring his services.
Leeds City F.C.
(Hy. Stringfellow) A letter dated 1 May 1905 from Mr. R. M. Dow,
a director of the Leeds City F.C., asking our
price for the League transfer of Harry
Stringfellow, was read. Mr. Wright's reply
quoting £150 but that we would consider
