Present G. Mahon Esq. (Chair) Messrs Bainbridge,
Baxter, Clayton, Davies, Kelly, Kirkwood, Wade,
Whitford & Wright.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Reports Dr. Whitford reports the Sunderland match.
Mr. Bainbridge reported unfavorably on the
Gainsboro team & it was decided to do
nothing further.
The Secretary reported that the Complaint by
Marine F.C. was dismissed
The Doctor's report was read
The trainers made their report
The Secretary & trainer reported re McDermott
Dr. Baxter reported that Duffy had signed a
League form for Glossop.
Shone O/R. Mr. Davies reported unfavorably on the District
teams at Garston, but that Shone (Helsby O/R)
was worth a trial.
Birnie Messrs Clayton & Kirkwood reported that
Birnie of Sittingbourne had impressed them
very favorably; that with the consent of the Secy.
they had signed him on a League form & that
they had agreed with the Sittingbourne F.C. to
pay them £25 for the transfer at the end of
the Season or earlier if he could be released
& that Birnie had agreed to sign on for £3
per week; this arrangement was approved.
