Minutes of last meeting and of Ground sub
Committee Meeting read & confirmed.
S. H. Sugden The Secretary read letter from Notts
Forest F.C. intimating that it had been
reported to them that we had approached
this player & the deputation to London
reported that a member of the Forest directorate
had made a similar allegation to them.
The Secretary also read the letters written
by him in connection with the matter.
North v South The deputation reported on this match.
Ross Resolved that Messrs Coates & Kelly
go to see this player play on Saturday
at Manchester.
Smith (outside left Tranmere Rovers) & the Sale Holmfield
centre forward. Resolved that Messrs
Davies & Kirkwood go to Burnley on Saturday
to see these players play in the County match.
W. C. Cuff The Secretary having stated that he
would be prepared to remove from Lord
St. to Goodison Park if the Directors would
sanction him carrying on his own profession
from the Co’s. office, the same was at
once accepted & it was resolved that
permission be given.
Training Resolved that the following players
be sent away to Blackpool tomorrow
& that Messrs Bainbridge & Kelly make
arrangements.
