Present J. Davies Esq. (Chair) Messrs Baxter, Clayton,
Coates, Kelly, Kirkwood, Mahon, Whitford &
Wright.
Minutes of last meeting read confirmed & signed.
Reports by Trainer and Doctor made & read.
Mr. Turner's report on Saturdays combination
match was read.
Hughes The Secretary having reported upon the
work done by Hughes he was instructed to
admonish him.
Notts. Forest Dr. Whitford having reported that he had not
yet been able to see the Lord Mayor, it was
resolved that in the event of the Lord Mayor
accepting our invitation a subcommittee
consisting of the Chairman Dr. Whitford & the Secy.
arrange for invitations to Visitors.
Excursion The Secretary was instructed to endeavour to
obtain permission from the Railway Co. to
travel by the 12 noon train at excursion
rates and for excursionists to return by the
7.25 pm train from Birmingham if they so
desired & Mr. Coates was requested to attend
with the Secretary upon the Railway Co.
F. J. Cox The Secretary read letter enclosing £18.10.0
on a/c.
Balmer & The Secretary reported the dates of engagement
Wolstenholme of these players as March 20th 1896 and Novr.
22-27 1897 respectively.
