Meeting of Directors held Tuesday October 7th 1902
Present Dr. Baxter (Chair), Messrs Bainbridge, Clayton,
Coates, Davies, Kelly, Kirkwood, Whitford and
Wright.
Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
Reports The trainer made his weekly report
and it was resolved that Settle, Toman and
Young see the Doctor and that a consultation
be held over Settle's injury.
Team v Grimsby Kitchen, Wolstenholme, Balmer, Taylor,
Clarke, Abbott, Sharp, Brearley, Bowman,
Settle and Bell. Sheridan reserve.
Team v Whitley, Henderson, Crelly, Clayton,
M'chester United Chadwick, Makepeace, Rankin, McDonald,
Monks, Dixon and Dilly.
W. George Turner to be asked to take charge.
Director on Gate Mr. W. R. Clayton.
Assistant The trainer was instructed to report to the
trainer Directors as to Hughes' capabilities.
Henderson Resolved that the Secretary write offering
this player to Millwall F. C.
Hony. Secry. Resolved unanimously that the the very
best thanks of the Board be extended to Mr.
H. Wright for his service as Honorary Secry.
during the enforced absence of the Secretary.
Motion by On being put to the vote this motion re
Dr. Whitford Season tickets was lost.
T. Chadwick's Application for increased wages was
deferred.
Notts Forest The Secretary was instructed to send a
cheque for £50 to Notts Forest the sum directed to
be paid them as compensation for alteration of
fixture.
