Insurance of Players It was resolved that we take our own risk
regarding the insurance of the players.
Medical Officer The Hon. Secretary read a letter from Dr. Wright
accepting the position of Medical Officer to the Club
on the terms and conditions of our letter of 30 July
1902 with the exception of attending matches
played at Goodison Park in the evenings, as that
would coincide with his private practice hours.
As he lives close to the ground and is on the
telephone we agreed to that exception.
Practice Games It was arranged that a public practice game
be played on 23 August at 4 p.m., a private
game on 25th August at 5.45 p.m. and a
final public game on 28 August at 5.45 p.m.
Captains and Tom Booth was appointed Captain and
Sub-Captains Wm. Balmer sub-captain of the first team
and Rankin, Captain and Whitley, Sub-Captain
of the second team.
Fixture Cards The Hon. Secretary was authorised to obtain 500
fixture cards from W. J. Blevin & Co., the same
as last year, at £13.10/- less 3 1/3%.
Cheque A Cheque for £151.18/- being the players wages
for weeks ending 2nd and 9th August was drawn.
Season Tickets The Sub Committee reported that they had
fixed the prices of the season tickets (public)
as follows:-
