Present W. R. Clayton Esq. (Chair) Messrs Bainbridge,
Davies, Kirkwood, Whitford & Wright.
Team v Kitchen, Boyle, Watson, Wolstenholme,
Notts Forest Booth, Abbott, Sharp, Taylor, Young, Settle,
Bowman, Blythe reserve for left half.
Robertson Dr. Whitford having reported favourably on
this Crewe Alexandra inside right & the
Secy. having read letter sent to the Crewe
F. C. resolved that we await reply.
Meredith Resolved that Messrs Clayton & Wright be
approved to approach Manchester City
with a view to securing this player.
Brearley Mr. Clayton & Wright having reported favourably on
this Middlesbro player who played centre forward
it was resolved that the matter be put in
order as to approaching Middlesbro when
deemed expedient.
Goodson of Doncaster Rovers : the consideration of this
player was deferred until Tuesday.
International Dr. Baxter & Mr Wright were deputed to
visit Glasgow on the occasion of the
International on the 5th prox.
