Meeting of Directors held Monday Sep. 6th 1897 Present W. R. Clayton Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Baxter, Crawshaw, Cuff, Kelly, Keates & Prescott. Minutes of two meetings read & confirmed. Team v Derby County - same as last Saturday with Hartley to go as reserve. Team v Newtown - Tickle, Barker, McConnell, Johnson, Douglas, Robertson, Williams, Roberts, Hendry, Littlejohn, Schofield with J. Chadwick reserve. Team v P. North End - as at Derby except Hartley for L. Bell and Robertson for Stewart. Team v St. Helens Recs. - Tickle, Balmer, Barker, McKinley, Douglas, Gillan, Williams, Elliott, Hartley, Littlejohn, Schofield. Directors to Derby Mr. Clayton in charge. Directors to away matches - Resolved any Director wishing to go to any away match may do so at clubs expense. Director in charge of Gate - Mr. Crawshaw on Saturday. Bonuses for Resolved the team have 20/- for win at home or League Matches away, with the exception of special matches to be dealt with by the Directors. The reserve man going to away matches have 10/- for win. Amateur Team Resolved we charge 2d admission. Admission
