Meeting of Directors held in the office August 9th 1892
Present W. R. Clayton Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Griffiths, Leyland,
Davies & Atkinson.
Fireworks Resolved that we accept the offer of the National Sporting
Goods Co. as per their letter.
Kelly's Contract Resolved that the contract of Messrs Kelly Bros
for the sum of £132.10.0 be accepted for
making, erecting, entrance Gates, Sheds &C & complete
all work required on the Ground except painting.
The whole to be finished by August 20th.
Goal nets Resolved that the Sec order a set of Goal nets
from Mr. Barclay.
Sports on Aug 25 Resolved that the Directors make all the arrangements
themselves.
Events Resolved we have 100 Yards flat-: 1/2 mile flat
3 leg race and one mile walking race.
Training Resolved that all the Players not working be
asked to turn up at stage tomorrow at 4-15
for walk.

| 286 | Resolved that Elliott be engaged as Assistant Trainer & Groundsman to play when required. |
| 295 | Resolved to give Stoke £20 for the transfer of Maxwell & to find him a place in a solicitors’ office. |
| 365 | Resolved to give 11 players medals for winning the Combination Championship |
| 444 | Resolved that the Ground Committee be authorised to have rooms covered over, urinals erected etc. |
