Meeting of Directors held Monday April 29th 1895
Present A. T. Coates Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Mahon, Clayton, Wilson,
Griffiths, Atkinson, Kelly & Leyland.
Southworth's Southworth appeared & asked the Directors to
Suspension reconsider his suspension as his loss was so great.
Resolved we cannot do anything further in the matter.
Trainer Resolved Gilbert be re-engaged as Trainer
for next Season.
Re-engagement Resolved Messrs Griffiths, Wilson & Clayton act
of Players as a Sub Committee with power to engage on best
terms, Milward, Chadwick, Kelso, Hillman, Murray.
Cook Resolved he be engaged @ 20/- per week all the Year.
Boyle's Resolved the Seal of the Company be affixed to
Agreement the Agreement & that he have a benefit Match
on the 2nd Monday in Sep 1896.
Engagement of Resolved the action of Messrs Griffiths, Clayton &
Flewitt the Sec. engaging Flewitt be confirmed. Terms
£50 to Lincoln for transfer £10 bonus to Player &
£3 during playing Season & 30/- during Summer.
A. Rule Resolved we engage this Player, the matter to be
left with the above Sub Committee.
Scotch Players Resolved Mr. Clayton & the Sec. go to Scotland &
sign on professional forms.
L'pool Cup Resolved the team have £2 each.
