Team v Southport Central - Williams, Kelso, Parry, Boyle, Holt,

& Milward to go.
Team v St. Mirren - Cain, Adams, Arridge, Walker, Storrier, Elliott,
Williams, Murray, Geary, McMillan, Handford.
Directors to Southport - Mr. Griffiths in charge.
Checkers Resolved the Secretary arrange for Six Checkers
with Mr. Kelly in charge.
Directors in charge of Gate Messrs Clayton & Coates.
Southworth Resolved the Sec. make further enquiries re Southworth.
Purchase of Ground Resolved that the Committee elected re purchase of
Land, be and are hereby empowered to negotiate
& subject to their approving of details conclude a
Contract for the purchase of Ground on the following
terms. The price to be 5/6 per Yd. excepting the
frontage of Mere Lane such frontage to be at 7/-
per Yard. The whole of such Land to be freehold
& that the Seal of the Company be affixed to such
agreement. The purchase to be concluded on or
before July 1st 1895 subject to the Shareholders.

286 | Resolved that Elliott be engaged as Assistant Trainer & Groundsman to play when required. |
295 | Resolved to give Stoke £20 for the transfer of Maxwell & to find him a place in a solicitors’ office. |
