Finance Com. Resolved it be adopted & entered in Minute Book-
report Your Finance Com. have gone very carefully into the
list supplied by the auditors of alleged missing
vouchers, & led to offer the following Observations:-
That in 2 or 3 cases the auditors appear to have included
in their last vouchers which have not only been produced
to them but have been marked by them as examined.
With regard to the item of Short Silver in packages
supplied to the Bank, your Com. consider that in
dealing with sum of money varying between 100
& 500£ & sometimes more & made up Principally
of small coins it is almost impossible to avoid
small deficiencies of Silver in some of the packages.
These remarks would also apply to the item of
that cash at Turnstiles.
