TANSEY, T. It was reported that Tansey had turned
down the offer to go to Wrexham.
DUNLOP, A. It was reported that Dunlop was due
for a 2nd Benefit and it was agreed to apply
for permission to pay him £1,000.0.0.
SCOTTISH F. A. It was agreed to release Parker & Collins,
3 if selected, to play for Scotland v Wales on Nov. 4th.
HOOD, J. It was reported that J. Hood had reported
8 for training yesterday and had asked to be placed
on the transfer list. Mr. Askham proposed that
he be given the opportunity of stating his case
before the Board, and this was seconded by Mr.
Hughes. Mr. Joynson proposed an amendment
that he see a small Sub-Committee and this
was seconded by Mr. Taylor. On being put to
the Meeting the amendment was carried. The
Sub-Committee appointed was Messrs C. H. Askham,
R. A. Joynson & E. Holland Hughes.
O'HARA, E. It was reported that O'Hara had
intimated that he would welcome a move back to
Scotland if the opportunity arose.
RAMSGATE F. C. It was agreed to accept an invitation
to play a Floodlit Match at Ramsgate on
providing our expenses were fully guaranteed.
FLINTSHIRE It was agreed to issue 20 Complimentary
SCHOOLBOYS. Stand tickets to Flintshire Schoolboys for our
match on Saturday v West Ham.
HICKSON. A letter was considered from the
12 Chairman of Liverpool F. C. offering £7,000.0.0
for the transfer of Hickson. It was agreed
that they be informed that we were not
interested in the offer.
CHAMBER OF A letter of thanks was read from the
COMMERCE Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce.
