Present:- Mr. John Moores (Chairman) and all other
Directors except Mr. Hughes who was indisposed. Manager
& Secretary in attendance.
Minutes of Meeting of May 25th were read
and confirmed.
FINANCE Receipts reported were:-
Season Ticket Sales £58,765.0.0
Australian Tour Balce. 5,000.0.0
A cheque was signed for:-
Huddersfield Town F. C. re Wilson 34,700.0.0
Bank Balance £19,714.19.6 Cr.
MULHEARN K. It was reported that Mulhearn had turned
294 down the offer to go to Torquay Utd.
PARNELL R. It was reported that no offers had been
273 received for Parnell, who was on the transfer list.
PLAYERS WAGES It was reported that Vernon, Gabriel, Hoslop,
294 Sharples & Monissey had not re-signed as they were
not satisfied with the terms offered. It was agreed
that Vernon & Gabriel were asking for too much and
the Club could not meet their requests.
Several small adjustments had been made in the
terms to a few players who had re-signed.
WILSON R. 294 It was reported that R. Wilson had been
MEAGAN M. K. signed from Huddersfield Town, and M. Meagan had
235 been transferred to Huddersfield Town. Wilsons terms were
£50.0.0 p.w. plus £10.0.0 p.w. when in the 1st Team.
PLAYERS BENEFITS The proposed Benefit scheme for the future for
players was approved.
YOUNG A. It was reported that Young had asked to be
294 taken off the transfer list, and this request was left
in abeyance. It was also reported that Stoke City had
enquired about him, and were to make an offer. It
