[Meeting held at Goodison Park
Monday 20th April 1964.]
Present :- Mr. John Moores (Chairman) and all
other Directors, Manager & Secretary in attendance.
Minutes of Meeting of Apl. 13th were read
and confirmed.
FINANCE Receipts reported were:-
Littlewood Mail Order Stores CLOCK RENT 5000.0.0
Australian Soccer Fedn. 5000.0.0
Bank Balance £12,220.16.0 Dr.
W. R. DEAN It was agreed to pay £500 to cover furniture
290 purchased on H. P. and £400.0.0 to cover the
ingoing for his son for a Public House, which
would reduce the amount of the Fund to
approximately £6,000.0.0.
PLAYERS It was reported that the cost of the new
TUNNEL. players tunnel would be about £6000.0.0. It was
agreed to reduce the area size of the free space, and
possibly the cost.
BELLEFIELD Plans for a new Pavilion at Bellefield were
289 studied, and it was agreed that new plans be
drawn up, modified in accordance with requirements.
OUTSIDE It was agreed to install lights outside
LIGHTING the turnstiles to illuminate the signs at a cost
of £320.0.0.
NEW STAND. It was agreed that Mr. Hughes should write to
292. the Town Clerk, outlining a scheme for the
Building of a New Stand, and providing some
space for Car Parking.
REPORTS. Reports were given of the 1st Team game
v Chelsea, the 2nd Team game v Barnsley Res., and
of the players on the injured list.
A & B TEAMS It was reported that the A & B Teams had
won the Championships of their respective Leagues.
