It was agreed to circularise the Shareholders
with a copy of the Resolutions and the draft of a
letter to accompany the Resolutions was approved.
MANWEB Mr. Hughes reported that MANWEB were
SUB-STATION desirous of negotiating for a 14 year lease for the
(BELLEFIELD) creation of a Sub-station at Bellefield subject to an
128 annual rent of £5.0.0. It was agreed to offer a
maximum of 3 years, continuing thereafter on a
yearly basis subject to 6 months notice.
BELLEFIELD It was reported that Tysorrs were
98 prepared to consider selling Bellefield and whilst
the valuation was £15,000.0.0 it was anticipated
that a figure in the region of £25,000.0.0
would be asked. It was agreed to negotiate to
purchase at the best price possible.
RE-RATING It was reported that the Football League
valuer had tentatively agreed with the Inland
Revenue for Clubs to be rated on Gate receipts
on the 1963 re-valuation. It was agreed to
appose this method as it was unfavourable.
INTER CITIES It was reported that Everton had
FAIRS CUP been nominated by the F. A. & the F. L. to take
part in this competition.
SIGNINGS It was reported that Vernon, Gabriel
& Young had signed for 2 years at £40.0.0 per
week plus £500, and it was agreed to offer
Labone similar term for a 2 year contract.
Bingham & Harris had signed for 2 years on the
PARKER A. terms offered. Parker had signed a monthly
207 contract & requested a transfer which was refused.
VERNON T. R. It was agreed to sell the house he
185 occupied to Vernon at cost price.
