		whilst his fractional log was healing.

THOMPSON (O. L.)	Mr. Catterick reported that he was

HARD TACKLING		The Manager raised the question of
		Press criticism of hard tackling by some of the
		players. The hard type of game was approved
		by the Board, providing it was fair.

SCOTTISH F. A.		It was agreed not to release any of our
	187	Scottish players for their match on Feb. 5th as
		our players would be away then for Special
		training, which would follow our game v
		Ipswich on Feb. 3rd.

TOUR			It was agreed not to accept an
	159	invitation to send a team to Russia during
		the Summer on a reciprocal basis.

SUNDAY FOOTBALL		In reply to a query from the F. A.
		it was agreed that we were not in favour
		of Sunday Football.

VACANCY			It was agreed to call an Extraordinary
	193	General Meeting within the near future to
		pass a resolution reducing the number of
		Directors, and in the mean time to frame
		an appropriate resolution for consideration.
