MARSDEN It was agreed to donate £75.0.0 to
COLLIERY JUNRS. Marsden Colliery Juniors, from whom we had
signed A Russell.
GALLAGHER G. It was reported that our Scottish Scout
G. Gallaghen had gone to America temporarily
for family reasons.
SUNDAY EXPRESS Mr. Catterick reported that the statement
published in Sunday Express last Sunday,
attributed to him had not been given by him,
and a ? he had issued to the P. A. & L'pool
Echo had not been used. It was agreed that a
request for a retraction by the Sunday Express
was entirely a matter for Mr. Catterick to decide.
L'POOL SCHOOLS It was agreed to allow the use of Goodison
F. A. 182 Park on Wed. Jan. 31st with an evening K.O. for
the English Schools Trophy 6th Round tie.
JIM ROTHWELL It was agreed to donate £5.0.0 to the Fund
FUND for the dependants of this player, who died whilst
playing football on Dec. 2nd.
