SHANNON L. It was reported that Shannon had been

had turned down, although he was keen to take up
a managerial post. It was agreed that the
Manager should ascertain Shannon's position, and
take steps to cover the possibility of his leaving.
NEW INTERNATIONAL The new International Proposals were considered,
PROPOSALS and it was agreed that the Chairman and Mr.

POOLS &c. It was agreed not to proceed with the
formation of a Club Pool at the moment, but to

DEAN W. R. It was reported that W. R. Dean had
184 applied to the Football League for a grant from the
Jubilee Benevolent Fund. The Secretary reported the
result of his enquiries on behalf of the Football League
and it was agreed to recommend that the Football
League be asked to made a grant for his immediate
needs, and the Club would arrange a testimonial
match later in the Season.
FLOODLIGHT The report on the condition of the Towers was
