A & Fulham and of the 2nd team games v Derby County Res., M/c City Res. and Sheffield Wed. Res. LIGHTHING (GOAL) Seen by the Chairman and Manager, and (COVENTRY C.) was not impressive. WEIR (GOAL) Seen by the Chairman and Manager, and (NEWPORT C.) whilst he impressed his kicking was poor. Age 28. FERNELL (GOAL) Seen by Messrs J. C. Sharp, N. W. Coffey and (BURNLEY) C. E. Balmforth, was quite good and should be seen again. IRONSIDE (GOAL) Seen by Messrs F. Micklesfield and E. Holland (ROTHERHAM) Hughes, did not have a lot to do and should be seen again. JONES (I. R.) Seen by Messrs F. Micklesfield & E. Holland Hughes (BRISTOL R.) and was not a class player.
