REPORTS Reports were given of the 1st Team game v Notts
Forest, the 2nd Team game v Newcastle Res., and of the
players on the injured list.
HERD 144 It was reported that Herd of Arsenal was
(ARSENAL) not available for transfer at any price.
FELL. (O. L.) It was reported that Fell had been
144 secured from Grimsby Town for a fee of £18,000.0.0.
WIGNALL F. It was reported that no offers had been
144 made for the transfer of Wignall.
RATES Mr. Hughes reported that the Inland Revenue
were prepared to reduce our assessment to £4,750 prior to
Floodlighting and £5,250.0.0 subsequently. This would
reduce of rate liability by £14,000 to £9,500.0.0. It
was agreed to offer to settle for £5,000.0.0.
