REPORT OF The recommendations of the Ground Committee
GROUND COMM. of the revised remedial measures for the pitch
62. were considered, and it was resolved unanimously
that the recommendations be adopted. It was
agreed that the soil warming wires be removed
and re-instated when it was considered that
the pitch was draining satisfactorily.
REPORTS Reports were given of the 1st Team game
v Chelsea, and of the players on the injured list.
GLASGOW CELTIC. Mr. Carey reported that he had invited
49. Glasgow Celtic to play a friendly match on Apl.
27th at Goodison Park, but it was doubtful
whether or not they would be able to accept.
