PROPERTY.		It was reported that a suitable house
	50	had been found for Vernon which it was
		anticipated could be bought for £2,550.0.0
		at Maghull. It was agreed to purchase this
		if after survey there were no defects.

BLAIN. J.		It was reported that Blain had been
		transferred to Southport who were to pay £100.0.0
		to cover his accrued share of benefit.

Mr. T. MOORES.		A letter of thanks was read from
	51	Mr. John Moores for our cheque to cover the
		instalment against his loan to the Club.

NEW BRIGHTON F. C.	A request from New Brighton F. C. was
		considered to allow two of their Directors to attend
		our home games to meet visiting Directors to state
		their case for election to the League. It was
		resolved that the request could not be granted.

GABRIEL 		It was reported, that following the
	54	visit of Mr. Askham & the Manager to Dundee,
(DUNDEE)	we were likely to get the first refusal for
		Gabriel, when they were out of the Scottish Cup,
		at a fee in the region of £30,000.0.0. Their
		Cup-tie v Hibernian had again been postponed
		until Wednesday, and it was recommended that
		he be seen by two Directors and the Manager.
		Mr. Taylor offered to be available for the journey.

MR. H. ROBSON ROBERTS	It was noted with regret that Mr.
		H. Robson Roberts. Vice-Chairman of Liverpool F. C.
		had died suddenly on Saturday and it was agreed
		that a letter of sympathy be sent to the Club.
