ACCRINGTON STANLEY It was agreed to write to Accrington Stanley
42. requesting payment of the £500.0.0 outstanding within
7 days, failing which the matter would be reported
to the Football League.
LOAN On the recommendation of the Finance Comm.
11. it was agreed to repay a further £7.000.0.0 to
Mr. John Moores in reduction of the Loan, and to
thank him for the indulgence he had shown.
CLAPTON. D. The Manager reported that Clapton. O. R.
(ARSENAL) of Arsenal was available for transfer, but he
did not assess his ability very highly. After a
full discussion it was agreed unanimously to
make every effort to secure this player up to
a maximum fee of £20.000.0.0.
ASHWORTH A. It was reported that the operation on
47. Ashworth had been successfully completed. The injury
was not as severe as was first thought and
the prospects of him playing again were good.
O'HARA. An offer of £3,000.0.0 from Stirling
